Welcome to Alpha Phi’s Lambda Chapter at Berkeley! My name is Mia Depena, and I have the honor of serving as the 2025 Vice President of Membership Recruitment at Alpha Phi.

Joining Alpha Phi has deeply shaped my college experience in the most meaningful ways. I’ve found a home away from home and built friendships that will last a lifetime. Since becoming a member, I’ve grown as a leader, expanded my involvement both within Alpha Phi and across campus, and developed a strong sense of community. Through our chapter’s initiatives, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of women’s heart health and strengthened invaluable skills in communication, organization, and collaboration.

Every woman in Alpha Phi inspires me with her unique passions, perspectives, and dedication. Whether it's late nights at Doe, philo events, or spontaneous late night drives to Yopo, I’ve felt surrounded by encouragement and love every step of the way. I feel incredibly grateful to have found such a strong and empowering community.
